Since time immemorial, real estate has been there. There are biblical references in which lands were divided for ownership and in the course of time developed to increase their value. This still applies today. The only difference is that there are hard rules and set guides and legislations to follow. People try increasing the value of their property with the intention of selling, to be used as collateral or to be used to generate income.
